Having a van to visit the Vancouver Island is a game changer camping idea. Unless you are planning to only see one place, one campsite - a van is a must have! Book campgrounds in advance if you want, there were plenty of places to find our own little camping nook, by a creek, near a lake or pond all over the island. Their map to help find the hidden spots and the trails to get there was great. We really enjoyed all of vancouver island, the people we met along the way, the places we traveled, and Lets Go Campers was one of the reasons that helped make it happen! The service is outstanding, the owner, very friendly and was super helpful. The freedom of driving and always having a home wherever we chose to adventure, so satisfying! Thanks a lot!

We enjoyed the use of the truck with a tent on top for one week. Went went to Ralph River Campground in Strathcona Park, Elk Falls Provincial Park and up to San Josef Bay up in Cape Scott Provincial Park with the truck. It was great to be in a 4WD vehicle, rather than in our tiny car. Cam was great to deal with. For the price of the rental, dont expect a brand new vehicle with all the bells and features. These are reasonably priced rentals in reasonably well condition, and more than adequate to handle highway driving and forest service roads. We will consider renting from LetsGo Campers again when we need a truck and tent combo.
We had a phenomenal experience renting our Campervan and a great time during our trip. Super friendly folk, knowledgeable and ready to help as soon as we booked — we never realized how big Vancouver island really is, so much more than just Tofino! They gave us tips as we planned and seemed to know of all the good off the beaten track places to explore! When we returned, the check out process, easy seamless, caught the ferry no issues. We even forgot keys in the van after we returned it, they helped get them back to us ASAP. Highly recommend!
We rented the Hot Dog Van for a week over to Jordan river to try surfing. The entire experience was amazing!! Luke was very helpful and even worked with us after our arrival ferry was late ( we were late, lol) ,Everything worked out. The camper surf rack was side mounted so super easy to use, extra roomie on the inside, the furnace pumped out the heat so it was easy to dry our gear. I would highly recommend Lets Go Campers! We we're very sad to say goodbye!
Awesome experience. Cam was friendly, accommodating, communicated well and even threw in some extras and had lots of great advice on places to take the van. These older vans have some quirks, don't expect a brand new flawless vehicle - but ours ran great and you can take them anywhere!
We spent 13 days in a wonderful van, Carlton, driving along the west side (Port Renfrew, Cowichan ...) from Victoria to Torino. Must say, started the trip right wth the first stop at Charlotte & the Quail @ HPC Gardens. Recommend the baked oatmeal pancakes from the restaurant - just awesome! This van provided the best adventure for us - way better than I anticipated! . . . In past years, we were not campers! The van is well equipped, lots of space, not too big or small. Space to bring what we wanted without having to stack things on top of stuff or move it each night when ready to settle in. Cooking and food was easy too. Loved Lakeside BBQ-ing! I think Carlton would be amazing for any trip.
Incredible team of people! While our van, Seymore, was not available the day before, we were upgraded to an even more updated van (we named her Josie). The staff (I believe we worked with Cam) was super, super accommodating and told us about great resources/apps to use for parking spots. This van took our trip to another level and is easily one of, if not THE, best trip we have ever been on. Super comfy & cozy (especially with the twinkly lights we left in)! Will look for any excuse to rent again.
Rented a campervan for a trip to Tofino, ended up seeing so much more with their map they had! It was the perfect vehicle for the drive all over the island and some of the more exciting 'roads' ! Vancouver islands Bamfeild is a road trip every campervan fan needs to do in their life time. The paint job on my van really fit a locals vibe, felt like I fit in for sure. I got a thumbs up while I rolled Victoria City. I’m for sure renting again when I come back to see some of the smaller islands...probably Salt Spring or Hornby
