I have attended this university for a semester and a half, and there is a reason I am transferring. DO NOT attend this university. It may be easy to get into, but it has the highest acceptance rate in Canada for a reason. There is little to no academic support, and the classes online are very hit and miss at best. Now, it is very likely that had I attended in-person, my experience would have been better, however I am going off my own experience. The majority of my classes do not even have TA's, which is absurd. I also had one of my profs put on administrative leave. Some of the profs are great teachers, but some of them are just experts at their subjects. Though this university is cheap, you are better off attending another school in Alberta or Canada. The drama department I will say, is pretty good. Very engaging professors and very passionate and welcoming students, I cannot say the same for the other courses however. Unless you have a passion for theater and couldn't get in anywhere else, DO NOT attend this university.

Liberal education tradition is a good and a bad thing here depending on what you like. small class sizes, will meet other people and seniors too. Tip is to make the networks. Tuition fees, not too high as compared to other universities. Studies can be challenging, take 3 or maximum 4 courses in first semester. housing is cheap, car insurance is cheap. gets very cold and windy. academic advisors are good.

Aaahhhhh the U of L. Next to Calgary the only place to get a decent education, and no one wants to go to Calgary amirite! So tie down everything you own to keep it from blowing away and get in here.

Excellent university in Southern Alberta. My two nieces go here and I would not recommend anywhere else.
