I have been to this insight many times but today had to share my wonderful experience. Unfortunately my midwife could not find my baby's heart beat. She gave me an ultrasound requisition and I went to insight right away in the hopes of getting an apt asap, but fully expecting it to take some time. The lady behind the counter was very nice and looked at what she could do for me, offered to call clinics in Edmonton to see if they could get something sooner as they didn't have space. Then, she called the lady in the back and asked if they could squeeze me in at 1.15, yes, great. I was so happy. They were on time for my apt which I was so so anxious about, and when I got back there I told the tech what was going on, she started scanning me and immediately told me the heartbeat was there and the rate. They were amazing for me today and I'm really appreciative of it.

I had a fall on the ice and injured my knee. My doctor sent me over to Insight Medical Imaging for an x-ray. I was able to walk right in and have my x-ray completed within a few minutes. Thank you!!! You Rocked!

I never have trouble getting in for appointments or walk ins - I'm never disappointed. It is clean and comfortable there and the staff is efficient, professional, gentle and kind.

Pros 1. Clean and well maintained spaces. 2. Ease of access from parking. 3. Knowledgeable and courteous technician and doctors. 4. Wide range of tests available 5. Low waiting time if you have an appointment. Cons 1. Receptionist who doesn’t seem to care/notice people who come in. 2. No locker for dress/ valuables while doing tests. You need to carry your stuff around while walking in an examination gown. 3. To get an appointment for specialist investigations may take time. I had to wait almost 2 months for fluoroscopy.
