Not sure why anyone would say the service was bad. I went in this week to pick up a couple of small items and asked one.of the clerks about Musky rod and reel combos and despite being in my motorcycle gear, meaning no way I would be buying gear today, he spent at least 20 or 30 minutes with me showing every reel and rod possible, pros and cons, budget etc. It was amazing AND he showed me a cool way to tie my Texas rigs I didnt know about when we were talking bass. I'm going back tomorrow for jerkbaits, I was super happy with this store and the selection and the service was awesome.

The products they sell is actually OK, but their customer service is more than terrible, after getting your money, they don't care about you anymore. If you want to buy some high-end product, do not go there. The staff are very nice when you are buying something, but when you go there for customer service, they give you the face like you owe them money. Avoid!

For years I've loved the products from Le Baron. But today, I went to the Montreal outlet and was very disappointed in the Customer service. Customers are not felt welcome or appreciated. I'll probably go the Ottawa outlet instead...it might be a bit further but at least they are not rude.

This is the only store I have found in Montreal that has a selection of good quality rubber boots for women (real outdoor boots, not just pretty rainboots for the city). I had a problem with one pair and had great service when I brought them back. The staff have all been very helpful and knowledgable.

I dont understand the bad reviews. Best prices in town and an awesome staff who knows what they are talking about. Keep up the good work.

The blonde cashier is an arrogant snot and has no business dealing the public. She never smiles and refuses to speak English. Every time I've visited, I had to revisit the store due to a mistake she made. Beware: she cannot be trusted. The manager gives the impression that he never showers as he always reeks of sweat. He is very rude to clients and does not deserve position which was given to him. Gun shop mostly carries old models as I have not seen anything remotely new on their wall in 15 years. Website is horrible to navigate through. At the last gunshow, they handed out vouchers as their new catalog was not printed yet. My guess is that this place with soon file for Chapter 11. If so, good ridance.

I know nothing about the Montreal store but the Ottawa store was HORRIBLE in terms of stocking adequately when it was time to do so and getting them to order more was like pulling teeth. When SAIL showed up in town I knew it was the end of an era for LeBarons. Shoulda, coulda, woulda...... (The Sears of outdoors stores)
