Only parents review these in modern time. But I was once a student their in 2017. I will tell you all the truth about this school. The so called bilingual education is a joke because only English is a solid thing to learn in this school. French is a complete joke and our recess time was short because all students were penalized for a few people's doing. When I was in fourth grade, an excellent French teacher was pregnant and went to live with her 3 daughters. After, they brought a biology teacher to teach French. She didn't know what she was doing and only read the books. A teacher's job is to make students understsnd the lessons, not straight up reading it. Our lunch time was silent because the school is so small and cramped that the cafeteria is right next to kindergarten classes. Fifth grade came and the education was falling apart. 5 people left in my grade and I was begging my parents for the same. In sixth grade, they made us prepare for a Harry Potter theater that we were acting for French class. Months passed and it was cancelled. All those hours of prep could've been for actual lessons all to waste. I took summer school for French in Sec 2 because of the gap made in my Primary years. This school is also so expensive and plays favorites with students. Chose any other school. (This is a point of view of a real student that had attended this school not too long ago)

No. 1 I was a student there back 1982-3 to 1988-9 as well as my brother. No. 2 Now I have the chance to have my daughter there. She is doing really well!! And most important she is VERY happy about going to school every morning. Very close n' personalized service! Happy kid, Happy mom, Happy life
Overall, Academy Lavalloise has a very welcoming environment. I volunteered my time organizing fitness activities for the students. This resulted with a positive experience with the children and staff!
My child attended Academie Lavalloise from kindergarten to grade 6 and her life is better for it! She is a fluently bilingual well mattered teenager today and I truly believe it is the positive impact Academie Lavalloise had on her young life. I highly recommend this school.
