I just bought a couple of chicken tamales today - they reminded me of my mom's tamales. So tasty! Super friendly staff too. I'm going to make it a habit of heading over on weekends to quench my carvings tamales.

The women who run this place really make their food with love. Everything from their tamales to their empanadas, to their alfajores is tasty and well priced. We especially love their vegetarian quinoa tamales, a unique recipe that works out so well!
Fantastic Peruvian food with a family feeling as soon as you walk into the place in Kensington market. If you've never had Peruvian food this place is simply the best way to get into it. The soup was warm and flavorful and the same goes for everything else we tried.
Really like the empanadas here. Reasonably priced, made fresh and a family run business. Gotta support the girls here.
Very quaint location that serves Peruvian food with exceptionally friendly staff. Great empanadas and some of the best ceviche I’ve ever had (note: they only serve ceviche on the weekend). Not a lot of seating room, so it’s a great option if you want to get some take out or walk to the local park to eat.
The ceviche here is by far the best in town and I have been back countless times and is consistently great. Everything Lorena makes is an absolute must try. We tried Lorena’s chicken dish and as expected, was full of flavor.
Super tasty empanadas and tamales!! Great food joint run by a host of nice folks
Im not going to say the pork was dry and underseasoned and that the tomale was kindda cold on the inside. There are other things better to talk about
