This is our second time coming to this great place and most likely we will continue to come on a regular basic. We came early September and were impressed with the number of species we saw. 1000s of birds flooded the sky. Wonderful new facilities. Must say they have the best, and cleanest public washrooms of any park in Saskatchewan too. Too bad that due to covid the main observatory building (already completed) was closed. Great viewing tower and tour drive. Highly recommended!

Couldn't find any maps, pamphlets, or trail information, so do your research before arriving. Several very new structures in June 2020, including an unopened visitor building (not quite finished, maybe due to covid-19), and a new observation tower. We really enjoyed the short driving tour and several short hikes. Lots of shearwater birds on our visit.

As a part of the build crew building the new pavilion and picnic area, I have had the chance to spend a fair bit of time out there. While I hadn't had the chance to explore around too much, the area is beautiful and quite peaceful. Once the project is complete, it will be an amazing place to spend some time wandering about and exploring!

10 km drive through various vegetation to observe birds. Quiet today.
