Nice location. Caring staff. Always fast service. There are 2 ATMs for service. Large parking. Opening hours need to be increased by at least two hours more. Thank you.

Worst customer service of any bank I have ever dealt with. Good luck getting any questions answered or getting ahold of a manager. They like to bully their customers and have zero patience for the lay person and his/her questions.

My personal experience on 14 Jan 2021at 10.45 am. When I saw overdraw charges of 82 on my personal a/c, which was not suppose to be, (very frustrated spending 30 minutes online to contact customer service online, talked to Nicole who put me on hold another ten minutes saying that she cannot do anything!! \ONE STAR\ Poor performance/poor training for her supervisor's decision....whoever it is). So I went to this Willowbrook branch, Langley, met the front desk lady Ms.Noah...explained the situation; Cheerfully she listened carefully, after consulting with manager admitting the charges were not suppose to be appropriate under the circumstances of \holidays\ computer postings of delayed transactions resulting in these charges. With smiling face she assured me that she will do necessary steps to reverse these charges in the next few days. Today, I see these charges were reversed and credited in my a/c. Why not the main office online customer service exercise the same knowledge? Would have saved everybody's time, particularly in this trying time of virus issues!

Impossible to get through to a human being on the phone. Everything is automated and directs you to the national queue, which is not helpful if you have inquiries relating to a specific branch.

I’ve been with Scotia for twenty years and the past six weeks has been the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Without naming names, stay away from the mortgage department and senior financial advisors if what you’re asking them to do doesn’t involve making money on their end. I requested a straightforward procedure-removing co signers from the title of my home. They started to play ball with my case. There’d be two weeks of no response even after I’d send numerous reminders. I would try another agent at the same bank, and my requests would again yield nothing. My initial request was 6 weeks ago and no progress has been made. I received two email replies, with promises to follow up, but this resulted in more and more waiting. I have no doubt that Covid will be used as an excuse here, and perhaps it played a small part, but this kind of customer service is unprofessional and inexcusable. Stay away from the mortgage department; they don’t know how to deal with people. Unfortunately, I still need to deal with Scotiabank, but I’ll be doing this at another location.
