If you want long lasting quality renovations, I would NOT recommend this company. Please make sure you review all their work with surgical precision and report any defects before their \1 year warranty\ that they DO NOT have written in any of their contracts. We were literally 1 month out of our supposed \warranty period\ when we noticed some floor defects. This could have been a positive experience had they just taken a look at our concern and provided us with feedback on how to move forward with our flooring issues. Instead, Doug will swear at you for asking for recommendations or a compromise on defects you eventually notice. He will also blame the age of your home for the brand new flooring his company installed.
The work Kerry and Doug (owners at Royal Valley Contracting) put into our home for our bathrooom and living room renovation was absolutely outstanding. The attention to detail, passion and care for all the work was apparent throughout the entire process, despite it being a long project requiring coordination and facing some challenges along the way (as with any renovation). We were able to work closely with Kerry when it came to picking out and ordering specific finishes we wanted, and he supported and discussed every decision we made, along with making good suggestions himself. Both Kerry and Doug were always available for a quick phone call if there were any concerns we had, and similarly they would always reach out to us with any questions to make sure things were done exactly as we wanted. They were also very accomodating with our work schedule, meeting with us on evenings and weekends. Doug's work on the framing and planning the renovation was great also and he remained on top of what needed to be done and co-ordinated important aspects of the project. The subcontractors they selected for plumbing, drywalling and painting were very good, and we had no complaints with the quality of the workmanship. Overall we are thrilled with the final result - our two new bathrooms look amazing and our living room is now organized just how we wanted without a giant fireplace in the way. Thank you so much! :)
Kerry and Doug did a great job,at a great price with extras thrown in as well.They repaired all deficiencies that they discovered,electrical and plumbing ! They totally renovated the kitchen, and bathroom,giving them a first class look!They added two bedrooms and closets and laundry room. What a spectacular transformation.WOW !!! Doug and his team were efficient, on budget and ahead of schedule. Their work and work ethic is superb. I am extremely pleased with the results and I intend to re-hire them for my next renovation.
