This beautiful park is one of my favourite. It has beautiful bike paths and trails. You can rent a canoe during peek season and then enjoy ice cream. The staff are very friendly and the park facilities are very clean. Great trailer sites and tent sites. I would recommend this park.

We paid 18 for the entrance. Beach is OK I would say. Clean blue water and there are washrooms at the parking lot. But there are few cons: 1.The shore is pretty narrow. 2.There is a strip of stones inside the water so you probably need some shoes or slippers. 3.Waves were really strong so it was challenging to swim. (I need to mention that it was raining for couple of days before we went there, so I am not sure if it’s always like this) 4. Some nasty people leave their dog’s poop which is disturbing. Overall it was a good one time experience. Would I come again? Probably not.

A great park for a get away for an afternoon - The Dog Beach was clean and fun to be on! For the most part people were keeping their dogs on leashes, but if course there are always those few who don't like to follow the rules. Otherwise it was a wonderful afternoon at the beach with the pup!

It's a nice dog beach. You do have to pay 18 dollars per visit if you don't have a pass. It's also very rocky in the actual lake as a warning. It's an overall good beach to go to. Further up are beach areas for humans only. An overall great place to spend the day. Washrooms are at all beach sites at the parking lot area.

Love this beach. Not just because it's one of the rare gov parks that specifically sections off a place for your dogs, but because it's great swimming, Huron sunsets, not too far and the patrons are respectful of your dogs as the pass. A1 for dog/human beach experience.
