Lambton Shores, Canada

Good for kids
It's an okay loop but not much to see and not very challenging. You have to use this trail to access Forestest Dunes. Not worth driving far to do. I only did it to complete the LSNT Blazers Award.

Nice for a walk just a bit shorter then I thought.
quite enjoyed the trails, especially the first loop in the west. The trail to the east was not well maintained and I ran into quite considerable flooding half way through. I had to cut into the bush to skirt the water on the trail for some distance so after 30 minutes of that I turned back. As a result \\I did not make it to the Mud Creek at the end. Apparently the bridge is down but that would not have mattered as I only intended to walk the entire trail and not cross over into the residential area. The area is really quite scenic and thoroughly enjoyable minus the flooding part half way through. Maybe in a drier season the creek will not be as high and the trail will be passable.
Highly recommended hiking here. Very peaceful and scenic, and very few insects this time of year; but check for ticks after and prepare for mosquitos in the warmer months. The trail isn't difficult, but it does have a few small inclines throughout the circuit. It even connects with Forested Dunes Nature Reserve. It's definitely one of the places in the area worth returning to.
