The name of the owner is Ed. He is so nice and accommodating. We went last Labour Day (2018) and it was so crazy busy in Grand Bend that day. All parking lots were full. Too exhausted to find one, we decided to take a rest and buy refreshments from this store. He overheard us talking about how difficult to find a parking. He offered his parking at the back of his store all day for FREE!!! We insisted to pay him when we get the car but he declined it. Very nice guy. Not only that their Halo-Halo a Filipino refreshment (as he called it) is \to die for\. I googled it and it is a popular Filipino cold dessert which is a concoction of crushed ice, evaporated milk and various ingredients including, among others, sweetened beans, coconut julienes, sago, gulaman (seaweed gelatin), pinipig rice, boiled root crops in cubes, fruit slices, flan, and topped with a scoop of ice cream. This store and the owner deserve a 5 STAR!!!
