Close to authentic Malaysian food. Great flavours and good spice. Has gluten free noodle options. Service was ok and the sever was very soft spoken (could barely hear her talk) but delicious food for the price. Not a big fan of the squid appetizer cause it's a cold squid dish but the mains definitely hit the spot ️

it is only A-OK. the waiting was long, i waited for at least one hour. so i am not sure if i would want to wait this long again for the food that can't impress me. i had rainbow salad, it was too sour and salty. coconut rice was interesting, but spicy chicken with basil and pancake taste average.

Their laksa and moringa noodle soups are very good but unfortunately their prices are not. I used to come frequently but over time they raised their prices way beyond what other restaurants usually charge for a bowl of noodles. I mean the portions didn't get bigger which could justify the higher pricing but it's not. I have no complaints about the food.

Called Laksa King and Nelly took our order. She said 20 minutes. We got there in 21 and the food was waiting :-) Nice. Daniel was greeting people at the door. Very friendly staff. Although they do have inside dining, we are still not comfortable with that. Back at the car we dove in. First the Roti Canai Large. Flaky. Every restaurant has its own style of curry sauce. Laksa King's sauce is a thin one but tasty. I did not know you could have it with condensed milk and sugar so I will try that next time. Next the Char Kway Teow. Although it does have samba chili, this was the least spicy so I am sure you can always ask for hotter. The Nasi Goreng looked great for takeout food. It was topped with a lot of toasted onion and had a good amount of protein. Again not too spicy but my family likes less so it was good for them. Lastly the Laksa with vermicelli. As I viewed the menu on my phone I did not look at all the details. This was the spiciest (which I like) but you can order mild to extra spicy. I think they gave me regular. Again a good amount of protein. The chicken looked like it was spiced (I would guess they take that from their Curry Chicken), and there was a whole egg which was nice. All in all a great and satisfying meal on a gray Vancouver January day. Thanks Nelly and Daniel! (I am also) Daniel
