After travelling to Vancouver and Edmonton for work and leisure in the early fall season of 2018, I was inspired to recreate a cake I had a chance to try in Edmonton for the first time. The cake I was looking for was the Princess cake - sponge cake, whipped cream, raspberries, pastry cream, marzipan, and powdered sugar - simple yet delicious. I reached out to La Creme cakes and inquired about the Princess cake we wanted to custom order, we planned to serve this cake at our surprise engagement party in April 2019. Melissa was prompt to respond to our inquiry and provided a quote for the custom cake on the first response. We appreciated the time she had taken to answer any questions we had about the order. Our first experience with La Creme cakes was positive and we would highly recommend this bakery. The cake was ready on time, the staff was friendly, and they created a very fresh and tasty cake, all of our guests enjoyed it including us. Thank you Melissa and the La Creme team!

Honestly, the best cake in Brampton. I have been ordering cakes from Melissa for years and for every special occasion my family has it. She is a truly artist, very passionate and very punctual. You get it done on time. She goes above and beyond in every cake (big or small). The cake is always fresh and no matter what design or flavour you need... she get it done and trust me, everyone will ask you for a business card. You can't go wrong. I did attach pictures from every cake she has done for me. Keep it up, Melissa.
I had three cakes made by Melissa for the same day. She went above and beyond my expectations. I showed her pictures of the cakes I wanted and she made the cakes look far better then they did in the pictures. To top it all off she is such a sweet person to work it. Always takes her time to listen to exactly what you are looking for. I will always always get my cakes from La creme cakes! Thank you!
