Decent all you can eat! The BBQ quality is better than the sushi. The sides are good too, which is unusual for a place like this. I really enjoy the chicken wings and the sashimi was decent! Kids under 4 are free, older kids are half-price. It is good for large groups. I think it is need of a renovation though as the walls are dirty and you can see paint peeling in several places.

This place could be so much better if it could hire more waiting staff. The food is decent for an all you can eat place but the service is something to be desired. I asked all 3 waiting staff on shift to change out my grilling plate, two of them twice. It wasn't until I flagged the third person, who wasn't even servicing our table, to change out the now pitch black plate before it got done. Meanwhile our meal was resting on the table because we couldn't grill it yet. I would not come back here.
The atmosphere is very nice and clean. The food quality is overall good. But the bbq are sometimes too hot so the meat get burnt.
AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!! This whole restaurant is like a joke, the food quality is bad, you could've found so many better all you can eat restaurant in this style with same or even better price. The food are just bad, I understand this is all you can eat, but it seems like the owner has just given up, especially the salmon, they taste so wired that I can't bare to eat more. The only food that tastes good is the BBQ ribs, they're alright compared to any others food. The worst thing is the service. Servers in this restaurant are constantly gone, you cannot find literally anyone when you need something. When they show up, they just show that annoyed face like you're always too demanding.
I have mixed feeling about this place. First of all, the food is just fantastic, very good quality, perfect seasoning. The portions are super small (if you tick one mushroom on your ordering sheet, they literally bring one slim slice of mushroom), so it's not a problem to take lots of different meals with the option of all you can eat. The main issue is definitely around customer service. I know it's a Korean style, I know that's the way it works there, but it's just way to foreign and kind of rude to try to implement this kind of service here. It feels like no one cares about you as a customer, they show no smile, no feelings toward you as I guest, and I had the impression that I'm just a walking wallet for these employees and my presence is kind of inconvenient.
Decent place for all you can eat lunch and dinner. Great variety. Busy at night time so if you have a big group.... do call in and make a reservation. Fun to bbq meats and also have sushi and other foods on the side. Servers have definitely improved the past few times I've been there. Sometimes you don't get everything that you ordered but it's all you can eat, so just order that missing item the next time around. Eating time is limited to 1.5 hrs.
Kyo Korean BBQ & Sushi House is known for their All-You-Can-Eat menu. Located on the 2nd floor of a building at Granville and West 14th, Kyo occupies the former Shabusen Yakiniku location (also known for AYCE). The price for dinner here is 33.95 per person and their menu is fairly extensive and includes both Korean BBQ (which you self-grill at your table) and Japanese dishes such as sushi and sashimi. As expected, to get your money’s worth, you need to come here hungry. The service here, as expected, is a bit lacking and it can be difficult to flag someone down. Most of the food items here are pretty typical of AYCE…but at least you get to try out a lot of different dishes. It’s a bit difficult to cook AYCE BBQ on one small grill and your table fills up rather quickly. I have to admit that the BBQ chicken turned out pretty good but I wish that they had dipping sauce for some of the other BBQ meat dishes as everything started to taste the same after awhile. The Japanese dishes such as the sushi were okay… nothing to write home about (especially the aburi sushi). Some of the rolls seemed a bit skimpy on the seafood (ie. being composed mainly of rice) but I found the sashimi, while cut thinly, were okay. Overall, it is what it is… AYCE is all about scarfing down as much as you possibly can and we got our money’s worth here.
all you can eat portions are small, but at least you get round 2 and 3, but that said, 33 per person is kinda pricey, especially the charge for kids which kids don't eat much at all
