Good porpotions, however, you guys nenedmore worker 1 server only? and kitchen helpers. That is a lot of work for one person. U should hire more server. 1 server for 10 table not enough in my opinion.

My wife and I first ate at Korean House on Somerset in early December 2020 (during the COVID pandemic) -- and this review is based on that first visit. Overall, we had a very positive experience: the restaurant (on a week-night) was nearly empty with tables far apart. We had to leave our contact info in a book by the door (for COVID contact tracing) and alcohol-gel was provided. The staff were friendly and generally unobtrusive. The food, however, was overall excellent. Portion sizes are generous -- so you are not likely to leave hungry. The Bulgogi beef dish was very tasty: cooked just right, seasoned just right and tender (and filling). The bibimbap was equally very tasty --- and even the appetizer portions were tasty and generous. We really could not find any major fault with this food -- and generally, it felt very much like comfort food that you want to eat on a cold evening. I am quite sure that we will want to go again to this restaurant for Korean food --- and I think that it deserves a solid 5 stars based on our initial experience.
First time trying KBBQ and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and it comes in generous portions. The staff is very friendly and the service was amazing. Definitely will be back!
Delicious food but why is just one person taking orders, cleaning tables, answering the phone, taking payement, doing everything by himself? First time there and at some point the guy didn’t want to give us anymore food, as if we were exaggerating, he said he’d get back to us and never did. I should not have gave him a tip. For that 1 star.
The seafood pancake can feed 2! I was super full after both the pancakes, which I took to go, and the kimchi stew. The service was pretty fast and we got some complimentary dumplings as appetizers. The kimchi was not fermented enough, but everything else was quite good.
Wow, my 1st time getting food from here and I will definitely be coming back. The portions are generous and the food is very flavourful. The kimchi is superb. Already looking forward to trying more of their dishes. Yummy!
Hands down the best tasting Korean bbq place I’ve been to. Also everything is super clean and sanitary unlike Seoul Chako in Montreal. Thank you
Got takeout for my birthday, during lockdown. Never had Korean food before, so asked for suggestions. Lovely lady on the phone suggested Bibimbap. I got Original and Short rib. So good! I will be back when I can experience the table BBQ!!
