my booking was cancelled one week after deposit and booking confirmation We found ourselves struggling to source another vacation home rental to accommodate our stay after being suddenly cancelled at Raspberry Hill. Had we booked with someone else we would have been looked after... but not so with Marion, she confirmed our booking, took 50% deposit and then one week later cancelled it completely, leaving us struggling to find accommodations for our trip. We had to settle on a one bedroom suite instead and now one couple has to sleep in the living room sofa... not the trip we planned and paid for. I honestly believe that Marion's excuses were an outright fabrication and that the truth is that she wanted to book a long term tenant that conflicted with our scheduled booking... so she threw us to the wolves and took care of herself. I don't recommend booking this place and for the record it took her a whole week to return my deposit, and left the repayment short of what was actually paid to her... all I can say is WOW - I really thought it meant something to have a booking CONFIRMED. I don't know how I could have been more cautious.
