Went to Kodokan for a trail, a good friend recommended it. I Absolutely loved it, super chill environment, super clean and Prof BJ was very patient and knowledgeable. He went over a few moves, he watched every single persons execution and followed up with us after words. What more can you ask?

One of the most inviting Brazilian jiu-jitsu gyms I have had the pleasure of visiting. Randy and Walton Chung, together, possess vast amounts of knowledge and humility that make your Kodokan YYC experience one to remember. There is no shortage of solidarity at this gym, and if you're looking for a place of common ground to learn, roll, and get into shape, all while learning and laughing with great individuals, then I would highly recommend checking out Kodokan YYC.

Kodokan is a great club. Not too big not too small. All the instructors are very technical and up to date with with the latest on the scene, and can use what they know. They are very welcoming, All the students follow closely in their example. Also, there is a sweet little vegetarian restaurant, and a French Baker right next to it if you want to get a bite after class, and one of the best butcher shops right next door to that. Not much more you could ask for.

I highly recommend this place to everyone, during yesterday's session the coach showed us a warm-up that involved transitioning from a lunge to our knee while our other legs comes back into a lunge position (kinda hard to explain) however during practice I realize we used this warm-up for one of the offensive moves and at that point I knew I came to the right place. The sensei is very professional and will jump in and break down the every little detail to make sure we make most of our session and once the class is about to finish well have a chance to practice everything we've learned. Everyone that attends is super nice and very helpful and you leave feeling like you've made the most of your our. Their collaboration with Dunamis Muy Tai helps you see fimilar faces and makes you feel welcomed every time. I look forward to Wednesday more than ever now to attend the afternoon classes.

Went today for the class and open mat, superb vibe, inviting atmosphere absolutely fantastic. Prof BJ Baldonado was running the session, an experienced and welcoming coach with knowledge and patience. Absolutely loved it, and highly recommend to all who want to try it or seasoned guys who are looking for a great team and to refine their skills. The place is large, and very clean.
