KMS is a great alternative to the traditional big-box tool stores (Home Depot, etc...). They carry a great selection of tools with prices ranges for people of all budgets. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great inventory and pricing similar to bigger box stores (KMS is a smaller chain compared to the big players) makes it a great place to be. The storefront itself is definitely not set up to be super intuitive for non-trades or tool-savvy people - but that just makes it that much better for those of us who are actually most likely to be shopping there to begin with. They have a decent membership program that offers discounts to its members - nothing crazy, but enough of an incentive to make it worthwhile if you shop there consistently (the savings add up)

I was very impressed with the customer service. The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable. One employee in particular went above and beyond when he crafted a repair for a part that was no longer available and helped me prolong the use of a quality tool I use almost daily.

Service Above and Beyond: I barely had time to make eye contact before I was pleasantly greeted and offered assistance by experienced and knowledgeable staff who demonstrated a genuine desire to be helpful. These gentlemen deliver Customer Service like the good-old-days; before we were considered consumers and were treated like eal people\. Never going to a big box home improvement store for tools again: KMS has my business from now on. A surprisingly enjoyable experience.

I love kms tools, and I've supported them for years because they have great pricing compared to most. Super knowledgable staff (unlike big box stores ) and they stock quality tools as well as budget tools. My only critique is that the store doesnt flow well and is hard to shop. Whoever has set the store up is clearly not good with marketing :)
