Called in to bring my car in. Brought it in yesterday at 1120 for a transmission light and I didn't even get a call about what was wrong. Not to mention was not told it would take over a day. Kinda stranded me when I didn't hear back from them about my vehicle. Update: finally got a call. But was quoted for the diagnosis even though your website states free diagnosis. On top of the price of a battery. REupdate: talked to Don about the issues and turns out was miss communication on both ends a bit.

I came to Don at Pioneer Transmission with a diagnosis from Simmons-Rockwell Ford that indicated a faulty transmission. initially I went to the Ford dealer complaining about a leaking transmission line and shuddering from the engine, I was told that I needed 6 new spark plugs and a new transmission line. I could not get the line fixed in time to get back to Canada so I had to forgo the fix and just went with spark plugs since the leak was only a drip. The dealership replaced the spark plugs, and then the vehicle was running even worse than before. The truck was shaking violently, and now the transmission line was steadily leaking fluid out the bottom of the truck. The dealership told me the transmission was permanently damaged and needed replacing. I limped back to Canada and took the truck to Pioneer Transmission After looking at the truck and diagnosing the issues, Don quickly realized that the transmission had nothing to do with the shuddering and shaking coming from the engine. He found that 2 cylinders were misfiring so he ordered 2 new ignition coils since I just had 6 new plugs put in. The problem persisted so Don check the 2 spark plugs that Ford installed brand new and he discovered that they were severely damaged. DON RETURNED THE IGNITION COILS AND DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR THEM! Don got my truck patched up with new lines installed, 2 new spark plugs, diagnostics and no messing around. The price I paid to have this work done was the same price I paid Ford to install new spark plugs. Pioneer could have told me that I needed a rebuild and I would have believed them. This guy is incredibly honest, quick and easy to talk to. He works hard and has a good team of mechanics. I am happy to have found a guy like Don Thanks!

We are very pleased with their service. Don is a great guy to deal with, very professional. Went out of his way to help us out. Had some electrical issues after having our vehicle repaired which was no fault of Pioneer transmission and Don had these issues repaired at no cost to us. Many thanks to Don and his staff.
