Edited: With a failed IUI and cancelled (coasted) IVF I feel very disappointed by the professionalism SOME of the staff have shown me. During the process I developed severe OHSS. When confronted about my symptoms which were an identical match to symptoms of OHSS, I was told to go to emerge and have a covid test and that they wouldn't proceed until a general physician had analyzed me. Thats odd to me as the ER doctor wouldn't know me at all compared to a fertility specialist who has been working with me for over 5 years. After 2 weeks of symptoms and having just had my cycle cancelled, I still hadn't heard from the doctor to ensure my symptoms have subsided or that I was doing OK. Apparently this situation had never happened prior so I was quite understanding of the position they are in as health care providers and it being a pandemic. Some of the staff as well as Dr Akinsooto seemed incompetent and lacked general concern for clients going through this process, which in turn has left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding the care I received. They certainly have some staff that put in the extra effort and are genuinely supportive( ie: Kristin, Kelsea) but I truly hope Dr Akinsooto himself can rectify situations like this as it makes it extra hard on families trying to conceive. Although prompted to remove this, I will keep this review up until I feel the service and standard has been met and I have been treated fairly as a client of a very expensive treatment process. Client care should ALWAYS be #1... and yet this somehow feels like my fault.

Extremely rude staff. Gave incorrect cost info for blood work. On the day of blood test no one answered the phone while we waited at the door for 30 min in the cold. Finally opened the door and rudely said we are busy. No signs on the door on how to get in for a scheduled appointment. Pressured us into paying 210 for a semen analysis test when they clearly didn't mention this fees during consultation. When I questioned them, the lady plainly told me I am lying about not being aware of the cost. This place is simply trying to push for every test that Ohio won't cover and find a way to bill you. Stay clear of this place.

Everyone is so friendly. I specially would like to express my gratitude to nurse Kristen P. who did my IUI yesterday and today. I had some challenges in my last IUI that I experienced more pain and got really scared on my future treatment. I had Kristen P. handled my case this time. She did an amazing job! She was so gentle, patient, very experienced and professional. Thank you so much! This place is great!

One Fertility Kitchener is a highly recommended fertility clinic for those couples wanting to start a family and are struggling with fertility issues.Everyone is kind, welcoming , knowledgeable and they truly care about their patients. Dr Akinsooto is amazing,he listens to your concerns and takes time to explain each and everything. Nurses always get back to you without any delay when you call them with any questions/requests. Receptionists were always pleasant and helpful with scheduling appointments and other general concerns. Ultrasound technicians and phlebotomists were also friendly and made procedures less stressful . Thank you for everything you have done to support us on our journey to parenthood.
