In choosing a supplier I worked closely with my electrician who is very knowledgeable about solar and operates two systems out of his own property. Scott Cooper did a great job installing our pool water solar heating here in Kitchener, It was a big job as our pool is a 20 X 40 size and the location of the solar panels on our roof is some distance from our pool house. After a few early adjustments by Scott, all works most satisfactory and we enjoyed 89 degree water this past summer. I fully recommend Scott for a solar install as he is a most responsible person and easy to work with.
We were given the contact information from a very reputable pool company Tim Goodwin Pools about Merlyn Power when we were looking into installing some kind of heating system for our pool. I was hesitant about what it would look like. Scott did an amazing job on the install and the system is working great! We couldn't be happier with the outcome. We had a unique circumstance with our solar panels that required out-of-the-box thinking to repair. We originally had roofers look at the issue and they were largely at a loss as to how to the fix it. Completely fed up with the situation and not sure what to do, we found Merlyn Power online. In one consultation, Scott had an idea about the source of our issue and was able to fix it promptly. He also noticed that we had squirrel's nest under one of the panels- we never would have known had he not mentioned this. We are very happy with the quality of the work and Scott's effort to problem solve. There is a commitment here to quality work, professionalism and providing work at a fair price. Highly recommended!
These guys are committed to customer satisfaction. Always respond quickly. Last job was for putting a critter guard around my array. The listened to my input and did a great job creating an aesthetic solution. And on a Saturday. Have recommended them many times.
