I like to go with friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are great and the stuff is generous and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we have a pleasing evening. highly recommended.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff. The food is reasonably priced and very delicious. Just some tips when visiting. 1. The spicy food isn't spicy. 2. seperate checks are not monitored even when the server is notified before hand. Our server spent 20 minutes trying to figure out who ordered what and I'm pretty sure there were items he didn't charge us for because he couldn't remember.

One of my favourites! Before the days of lockdowns and such I used to frequent this spot often. I love everything about this place...great music, lively atmosphere, delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly service and just the overall good vibes at Kinka keeps me coming back for more. The food is the star of the show though of course. Always fresh, always tasty. I have my usuals that I always order but I've tried pretty much the whole menu...it's hard to go wrong. A bit of advice for those of you looking to have a nice quiet dinner...the dine in option might not be for you as it can get pretty loud especially by the bar side. There's an open tatami room dining area as well that might not be as loud but you have to remove your shoes in this section. Aside from that disclaimer, I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

Touring Toronto for the first time, had this restaurant on the list to visit and stumbled upon it by happenstance. As soon as we walked in, the staff played the part screemed "welcome" in Japanese at the top of their lungs and from then on it was just a fun time. Extremely lively atmosphere, fun to be apart of. Be warned, if you are looking for a quiet night out, this isn't the place for you. Food was amazing and just begs you to try the entire menu. Highly recommended, especially if visiting from the U.S. What a treat.

Bustling atmosphere. A high energy dining experience great for a young crowd. Good variety on the menu that ventures outside the usual sushi and ramen. Reasonably priced. While we didn't get the sake, an adjacent table did and it seemed to be quite the exciting time. Service is excellent!

Live down the street from this place, used to go a few times a month before COVID all went down. Just ordered last week from here, it is completely different from the place we used to know and love. The kimchi udon was literally just boiled noodles with the tiniest amount of kimchi sprinkled on top, no flavour whatsoever. Noodles were gummy and weren't even stir-fried in any type of sauce or seasoning. We also got the appetizer platter, the chicken wings were not seasoned at all, not sure how you screw up fried chicken wings but they accomplished that. Very disappointing since every time before we ordered chicken wings they were super delicious. Something has happened, either they have new management or new kitchen staff or perhaps since it's gone so downhill, a mix of both. Sad to see how much their quality has dropped, another one bites the dust.

Absolutely loved it. The food was tasty and the portions ample. The set menu provides a good introduction to what they offer. Order the samurai bomb as it has a fun tradition that goes with it. Will be coming back to try the rest of the menu.
