St. Lawrence Cruise Lines Reviews | Rating 4.7 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

St. Lawrence Cruise Lines is located in Kingston, Canada on 253 Ontario St #200. St. Lawrence Cruise Lines is rated 4.7 out of 5 in the category cruise line company in Canada. St. Lawrence Cruise Lines was founded in 1980 and we are proud to be the Eastern Ontario region's oldest and most experienced overnight cruise operator. It is those 38 years of knowledge and expertise that empowers us to deliver the very best Canadian river cruising experience for our passengers. Each cruising season, we invite our passengers to celebrate the magnificent and historic St. Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers on the nostalgic 32-stateroom replica steamboat Canadian Empress. Aboard the Empress, our guests are able to journey from the remarkable International Seaway to the grandeur and magic of the Thousand Islands; from the museum community of historic Upper Canada Village to the imposing fortress at Kingston; from Old Montreal and the ramparts of Quebec City to the Parliament Buildings of Ottawa. The Canadian Empress is a grand ship with a warm and friendly personality. The interior is designed in charming early heritage style. Whether it is the heritage furnishings, or the brass handrails complemented by ornate metal ceilings, our ship recaptures the grace of a turn-of-the-last-century lifestyle. This classic style is perfectly complemented by our warm and professional crew, and a modern marine infrastructure that ensures our guests feel safe, comfortable, and ready to enjoy each moment of their calm water river cruise. Our cruise was from Kingston to Upper Canada Village in September 2019. Due to a tour cancellation our ship only had 35 passengers instead of the usual 70 which made it more cozy. We got know everyone and we were the youngest at 59 and only ones not retired, lol! Scenery and staff were amazing. Such a memorable trip!

I have worked at St. Lawrence Cruise Lines for 15 years and it has been a tremendous experience. I started out as a deckhand working on board the ship, and was able to build up to a professional career in the river tourism industry. This is a family-owned business that has been around since 1981 and it isn't run like a big corporate cruise line...It is more personal and people-oriented, with an emphasis on giving good value to passengers.
