Beautiful place to explore. Watching boats come through the lock is a treat. We love coming here.

Beautiful peaceful site with undisturbed nature. I noticed there was a lot of fish in the river too! Small bridges you can cross that open to allow fishing boats to go through.

Great place to walk, yourself or the dogs, Interesting historical site that still functions like it did when built. Can be quite busy on sunny days, weekends is when most boat traffic goes through. Usually open may long weekend to Thanksgiving ( Canadian). But season has been shorter due to construction last couple years.

Nice place to camp, go fishing, boating and hang out with family and friends, not a lot of parking, but it's a nice small area to relax and enjoy a few outdoor activities like BBQ and picnics. Not too far from Toronto, easy and relaxing commute. Made a quick stop on the way from Quebec going to Toronto.
