Loved the beach. Good, clean water but had lots of weed. Loved the swim.

Clean, 2 separate, small sandy beach areas. Military ID gets free kayak/paddle board rental. Dog friendly, several BBQ stations and picnic tables. Playground and splash pad nearby. Free entrance and parking.
The beach is cool, there is a sand beach and a pebble one too. The bbq posts are old and worn but the green space is gorgeous. There is a creek that runs into the water, a play park for the kids, and a newly renovated change room open during the day in summer. Just an awesome place. It is on the military base so it is a pretty safe and secure area to enjoy with the kids.
Great spot for hiking, picnicking and relaxing.
Extremely beautiful and relaxing. Not a sand beach but lots of grass to get comfy.
