Pretty course and a nice track. Reminded me of Old South Golf Links in Hilton Head. However, they knew how to take care of greens and bunkers which Red Crest falls at. Cost them 1 star. I've played a lot of courses RC is trying to be. They are very close on the fairways and as i mentioned the course itself is brilliant. The greens were full of ball marks as if a corporate tournament played before us. Bunkers were hard, not rain lately hard which is no excuse either but these were seriously hard. You couldn't tell where i struck the ball in one bunker. It wasn't worth the 90 twilight rate, mainly due to the greens. Lastly, we (2 players) waited on EVERY hole for the 3 in front of us to drive because they had to wait for the group of 5 FIVE in front of them. With Covid in effect it's problematic that two of us were sent out so quickly Another star.

This is the jewel of the Cardinal brand. Beautiful layout, with plenty of opportunities for birdies and double bogeys. Gorgeous clubhouse.

The course was in good shape and enjoyable to play. The pace of play was terrible. Despite tee off times being 10 minutes apart, we were still delayed by more than 20 minutes from our schedule time. We were given the option of waiting for more carts, or going out two people per cart even though we were not from the same household because staff and management had mismanaged the cart availability. This is despite having booked the tee off time four or five days ago. We ended up letting a group of walkers going ahead of us which further slowed us down. For 100 per person, any golfer should expect better service. Even in these unique times. There was no evidence of any course staff on the course trying to keep the play moving. Play at your own risk

One of my favourite courses. Too pricey though, so I only play it once or twice a year. I love its challenge. It's tough but fair. Hole #10 is one of the most difficult par 5 holes that I have ever played. I love it!
