By the time we got there was after the sunset but I think this is a great place to see a sunset. There are two piers but they do not let people go there. The beach is closed and no boats there yet. It is sad that the regular people can not enjoy anything but those that has cottages with front beach they are allowed.

In the summer, every night at sunset, a piper walks the catwalk on the old Kincardine Lighthouse. It is a tribute to a foggy night when a piper went out to the breakwater and piped in boats safe to the harbor. Kincardine, ON has the oldest continuously-playing bagpipe band in Canada.
