Kevin is excellent, honest, very busy and personable. His stock comes and goes fast because he sells great quality items at really good prices. His office hours does vary as he is self-employed, does not have to answer to a boss! If you are interested in something, be clear with your requests and time for meeting him and ask for specifications and photos. He may not be able to hold something for you as most people are unreliable and first come first served. Cash is king. His margins are pretty low, and his skills are top notch. He has lots of bits and pieces on site so if you are tech savvy and willing to scrounge around, you can pick up used fans and heatsinks, etc for cheap to free! If you want trained customer service people who know nothing but can make you feel good about parting with your hard-earned money, then please stick to BestBuy Geek Squad and the Apple Store, etc!

Don't let the messy shop fool you. Kevin has a lot of stock of a large variety of computer parts. If it's not on Craigslist or the prices with shipping on eBay turn you off, there's a good chance he has it. And best of all, he knows his stuff, so don't be shy in bringing in your equipment if you are not sure if the part fits the bill. He is very generous with his time to give you an assessment and if the fix is not that much trouble, he might even help you at nothing or next to nothing, compared to other larger shops.

My old workhorse ThinkPad failed while I was working, Kevin hooked me up with a newer model that fit my needs better as well, now I'm back up and running in the same day. I got a great quality computer that would outperform new ones double the price. This place is legendary!
