The Kizhi Parrota was very tasty , the fish pozhichathu was very tasty and the kizhi briyani was good .. reduced one star because of the adhivasi chicken which was not that good .. a must try restaurant in GTA This Malayalee restaurant has a mouth watering unique menu. Kizhi Biryani steamed in banana leaf was delicious and not filled with loads of garam masala like biriyanis in other restaurants. This store also has lovely wall paintings that looks like an intricate collage of Kerala's beautiful culture.
One of the best South Indian Kerala restaurant available in GTA area. Great ambience and spacious place. Automatic temperature check at the entrance. All Chicken, Beef and Butter Paneer Porotta Kizhi's were awesome. Would love to visit once opened for dine in.
This Malayalee restaurant has a mouth watering unique menu. The Shrimp 65 and Pomfret fry were fabulous appetizers that goes so well with a pop or beer. It also as deep fried onions and curry leaves which enhances the flavour. Kizhi Biryani steamed in banana leaf was delicious and not filled with loads of garam masala like biriyanis in other restaurants. I wished there was more flesh in the chicken though. It was more bones and less meat. The caramelized onions, raisins and nuts were a nice touch. This store also has lovely wall paintings that looks like an intricate collage of Kerala's beautiful culture. I would come again to try other unique items on the menu.
It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Reasonably priced.
Picked up from here during pandemic. I had the Kizhi Porotta and my mum had the veg pothichoru and falooda. I am from Kerala but never had kizhi porotta. It was delicious. 2 Kerala porottas with spicy oniony beef masala in the middle. Could have been spicier though imo. Good portion size. Pothichoru was also good all curries and veg were tasty and rice was cooked well. The leaf wrapping kept both things fresh when we got home even though we don’t live close. Very authentic and tasty Kerala style food and not expensive. Can’t wait to go back.
The food here is fantastic!! Great flavours, good customer services I was brought here by a Chef who posted pictures of the "Kizhee Parotta" and it is a must try that this place. Wow. Just awesome. Will definitely will be coming back
How many times does it happen that you head to a restaurant for a meal and want to go back right away for your next one! For me, that happens very rarely, but it did for Kerala curry House. Food is excellent and do try the “Kizhi Porotta”. During this pandemic when dine in is not possible, they do offer takeouts and keep all the food lovers happy.. Defenitely best mallu food in town
