At the end of February we had called van houtte as we were moving in march and would need them to come get their equipment and close our account. We were told that they will pass the message on and someone from kelowna would call us back. Mid match we called again with the same response. Before we moved end of march we tried again as we did not want to bring the equipment home. Still no call. A few calls later I made a fuss about the situation as we were still being charged. This was late June and we contacted head. We explained the situation and they agreed to refund us for the months we waited. Keep in mind they knew we had moved and were given my cell number every time I called in. Finally I get an upset call from the rep in kelowna that they have physically gone to collect the unit and had left several calls and message to the old buisness. We arranged for him to come to the house to pick up the unit. Not long after I emailed him about our money being returned. He ignored my first message but responded to the second. He said because he tried to collect the item that we won't be getting any money back. They had known we moved and had my cell number (that is how he called me to collect the unit). I'm currently waiting for head office to call me back. The person from kelowna was very unprofessional in his emails. Find someone else to do buisness with
