Chris is a great instructor and willing to go the extra mile before during and after the course. He helped me with my first Trap Shotgun purchase and took me to a few different clubs to get the feeling of it. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris to anyone looking to take there firearms training or CORE training.

Very informative firearms course with Chris Rogers! I did the PAL course last summer and found the class quite enjoyable. My husband also took his course a number of years back. As other reviewers have mentioned, Chris does a great job teaching in different styles—auditory, visual (including some old but useful films, complete with a cheesy truck ad), and kinesthetic. I had used a bolt-action before but being able to handle each firearm types (all deactivated) and their different actions was useful in getting me comfortable with how each worked. Chris gives you a lot of time to practice using each. The CFSC Manual is available to be loaned out from the class, but I ended up downloading the free 2014 PDF version online and reading through (just Google for it). Safety is important so I'd highly recommend looking through it. Hot beverages, cookies, and doughnuts were a nice touch. Testing process was fair and Chris doesn't try to trick you. He just wants you to be safe and think through the scenarios. After you finish the course, Chris will be happy to take you out to go trapshooting or even help you get fitted with the right gun. Chris ran a great course. He teaches different methods as we all learn in different ways. It was a nice environment with coffee ane cookies, and even the family dog! A pleasure all round!
