First Time at Cecil's Perogies! Okay Eyes Bigger than MY stomach...Thank goodness for takeout boxes! 5 Perogies, 1 cabbage roll, roast beef and a Large Borscht Soup & Bun! IT WAS ALL SO GOOD...Definitely GOING BACK FOR SECONDS!

The perogies are absolutely delicious and I would totally give Cecil's 5 stars because of that, but I have to take one star off due to the fact that they are not willing to give tap water to their customers when requested. Not serving tap water because they want people to buy the bottled water instead is a bit scummy if you ask me, especially considering 99% of restaurants in North America offer tap water for their customers. However, this is but a minor issue. Amazing perogies!
Been going to Cecil's since it opened 27ish years ago. Still the same amazing food and service. Nothing like Cecil's anywhere in this town.
Transcendental. What else can I say... These perogies are absolutely amazing! By the time I bit in to the second perogi I was hit by the wall of perogi enlightenment. Truly an experience to be had!
This is hands down the best Ukraine food I’ve ever eaten! Just thinking about that delicious creamy sauce and the hearty scrumptious perogies with the sausage. Can't wait to have it again! I ate most of it before I could take a photo because it smelt so darn good. Love the combo selections too!
Cecils grandson does an awesome job here - the big guy would be so proud! He’s extremely nice and friendly.. always easy going, joking around and making an effort to make people feel welcome and happy with everything. In a city with the absolute worst customer service and attitude everywhere you go, he’s a breath of fresh air to encounter. The perogies are as good as they always have been. I read the negative reviews and they are ridiculous... “they don’t give tap water”, “I wanted ranch with my perogies”... I mean come on. Do these people ever get out? This is their signature dish, that’s just how they come! Who would be so inclined to write a negative review over such petty things? This is an independent, family run, Kelowna institution... support them! They deserve it! Keep being awesome Cecils
Just go. If you haven't had these perogies yet you're unintentionally denying yourself one of life's great pleasures. I mean, they wouldn't have been there for 20 if they weren't legendary, right? Trust. You need these.
I've only been here twice but to be fair I've only just been introduced to this place by my girlfriend Chelsea. Johnathan is a very friendly employee who effortlessly runs the whole kitchen by himself everytime I've been there. The pierogies are absolutely delicious and the sauce is out of this world. The portions are very generous too. I will definitely be back soon and have recommended this to several friends.
