I have to admit, the first time I had Kelly's Mile High Brownie, I was impressed by the taste and loved it overall. However, I was definitely disappointed when I recently visited again. I got the same brownie and the poppy seed loaf. I didn't end up liking it this time, as it was missing the taste of freshness. Perhaps it had been sitting out all day or for more than a day, I'm not sure what it was. But it was not good. However, I really loved their drink & enjoyed sipping on their drip coffee made with coconut milk. I really like the interiors and exteriors of this place and find that it's such a cute spot. A bonus is that there is parking as well.

Amazing service, very friendly. They’re egg, tree nuts, peanuts, and dairy free! They’re completely vegan which is great because my best friend has an egg and tree nut allergy and her mom is vegan. It’s very difficult to find good substitutes for cupcakes/desserts that are as good as cupcakes with eggs or dairy but, this place is awesome! I’d definitely recommend going here. 10/10! (their brownies are soooo good!).

Love their skinny cookie, morning glory muffin, and mile high brownie. Flavours are great. I do find their icing on the overly sweet side but I don't eat sweets often so that might just be me. The prices are steep, compatible to some Toronto gluten free bakeshops. Customer service is always wonderful.

Cute shop in downtown Burlington. Clean and has nice branding. We purchased cookies and brownies from here and found the items too sweet. I also find it a bit disingenuous that none of the items have the price beside it. The receipt is not itemized either so you don't know what you paid for exactly. The business may be doing this so they can decide new price points on a whim which gives short term benefits, but I don't think this is a nice business practice to have.

As a vegan, my honest opinion of Kelly’s Bake Shoppe: overrated and overpriced. I’ve had way better vegan cupcakes, these ones are always too dense instead of light and fluffy, which often happens with gluten-free baking. Everything is ridiculously expensive and the sizes of brownies/scones always seem to decrease every time I go here. Their ice cream is very sweet, and has more of an icing sugar taste than vanilla. I just feel that their customers are being exploited for money when their products just aren’t that good. Their coffee is more expensive than Starbucks. I know they use special ingredients, but I also know that vegan baking doesn’t need to be expensive and use fancy, never heard of ingredients. I haven’t been here in about a year and won’t return. Side note, one time I went in and bought a dozen cupcakes. Among them were 2 Mexican spice cupcakes. I noticed they were kind of stale, and when I looked at their daily menu, I realized they had sold me a cupcake that was made the previous day. I bought the cupcake on a Thursday or something, and they only make Mexican spice cupcakes on Wednesdays. Why would a bakery put out old cupcakes at full price?
