Of course you cannot match that beauty anywhere in the world! I guess for an older guy it was hard to walk over all those rocks from the slides. Definitely doubly worth the effort!

Fantastic Hostel! This is a wilderness hostel so is pretty basic but HI-Kananaskis is about as good as they come. Great family atmosphere and great staff to help you find your way around.
Clean spaces and great service. Very nice place to stay.
We stayed 3 nights in one of the private rooms and we couldn't have asked for a better time! The cozy little rooms were clean and the serene mountain views are very romantic. It was conveniently located 5 min to the nordic spa and many beautiful hikes. It was very easy for us to bring food and cook for ourselves in the large kitchen. And the lounge is a very welcoming space to hang out and relax. The staff here were so welcoming and friendly. 10/10

Great little hostel that feels very rustic. Place was clean and very relaxed. Fire pit outside was a great feature. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Kitchen space was limited so keep that in mind when planning meals - good luck getting all your food into the fridge. Staff was friendly and helpful, would definitely staff there again.

HI Kananaskis SOS Camp 2019 completed for another year. The hostel experience provided by facility manger Anita keeps our group coming back for more every year. Her enthusiasm and willingness to share her information regarding Kananaskis Country help make for an enjoyable weeklong stay. Pretty well everyone has signed up for next year's camp already. See you next year Anita! Just back from our yearly (2018) week long stay at HI Kananaskis. We are always made to feel welcome and appreciated. Our time is spent biking and hiking in the area and the hostel feels like a home away from home at the end of each day. Looking forward to next year already.
