I highly recommend Linda and Someday Retrievers Dog Training Academy! Our 11 month old rescue puppy stayed there for a week and it changed our lives! Our dog no longer pulls on the leash when out for walks, she heels off leash, she “leaves it” when asked, her recall is excellent and she is just generally more obedient. These are all things I didn’t think would be possible. Linda trained both us and our dog and it has drastically improved our relationship with our fur baby.

Great experience getting our first puppy!
We took our nine-month old puppy JuneBug to Someday Retrievers for training. JuneBug is a loving Irish Setter/Golden Retriever Cross. When we took JuneBug in, she was terribly behaved. She was loving but stubborn. Walking her on a leash was next to impossible and off leash was not even an option as she would not come when you called her. She spent almost two weeks at Someday Retrievers (which was hard on me) but it was the best thing we have done for our puppy. She came home a different dog. She doesn't pull on the leash at all. She comes when I call her. And the best thing of all... I can finally trust her off leash so we can go on long hikes and actually enjoy it. Linda and Carly are INCREDIBLE. I wish I could give them 100 stars instead of 5. My husband and I highly recommend Someday. It was the best money we have spent on our dog. Thank you so much Linda and Carly for helping JuneBug grow into the dog I took home!
I’d like to give a big thank you to Linda and Carly at Someday Retrievers. We took our 10 month old Springador (Maddy) in to Board & Train. Maddy had exceptional results. We brought her home after 9 days and she is a completely new dog! The difference in her obedience is night and day from when we dropped her off. We joined Maddy at Someday Retrievers for 3 training sessions. We could tell Maddy was really enjoying her time there. I really appreciated Linda’s honesty and integrity. When we asked Linda if she felt that Maddy required further training she truthfully let us know that Maddy was exactly where she needed to be and that we could save money by continuing to work with Maddy from home. My partner and I spent months researching and trying different training methods. Linda and Carly had Maddy fully trained within a week. They did in one week what we spent months trying to do from home. Our only regret is waiting so long to take Maddy in for training! This is hands down the best investment we have ever made. I would highly recommend Linda and her team at Someday Retrievers.
I have had two wonderful Labs from Someday Retrievers. Both were very intelligent, healthy and great family pets. I would only get a Lab from this kennel as nothing compares to the loving, wonderful dogs that are bred here. I have also had my dogs kennelled in their facility and trained. They came back as dogs that my friends and family love to be around. Thank you Linda and staff who love and care for each and every dog.
