The University Housing is beautiful place to live in. Its the safest and best for new students coming to the University first time. Also, you get to live near the campus and be involved in the campus activities. The only reason I gave it a one less star is due to the cost of living here. Its a bit overpriced, as per the market price.

Lived here for most part of 2017-2018 I lived in one of the quad rooms. Bedrooms were a good size with a double bed, a large desk, a closet,a small tv , and a dresser. The bed was slightly hard, however I sleep well on harder beds so it wasn't much of an issue for me. Kitchen was small so counterspace and storage was definitely a commodity between 4 roomates, and the cabinets had a strange odour which i can only describe a curdled milk. There was a deepfreeze and two fridges which was a bonus however. The bathrooms were fairly small and the floors got dirty very quickly. In terms of wifi, to be frank the wifi was very fast 30mb/s, but had attrocious connectivity, if you don't have a modem or router you will need one because the wifi disconnects constantly. thankfully one of my roomates had a modem which fixed the issue. The staff at the front desk were generally helpful but don't expect to see a staff member at the desk in the early morning even though it was advertised there would be one at all times. The kitchens and general lounges were nice but dirty much of the time as many residents don't clean up after themselves which led to them being closed and locked( yes really) most of the time I lived here. On a more positive note the building boasts some very great facilites, there is a cardio gym, paid laundry, dance studio, games room with xbox and ps4, pool table and several lounges. These were definitely a high light in my time here. Another note is while i was here ,there was construction happening almost the entire time i was living there, which meant sleeping past 8 am was impossible due to the excessively loud drilling at all hours of the day. While it wasn't the worst place in the world to live i wouldn't reccomend more than one year living here as the price is only worth the distance to TRU.
Good basic clean accommodations for families with 4 bedroom 2 bath rooms with tv's in each bedroom and free wifi. Big fridge/freezer and microwave. Beds super hard, no couches, and no decor as it's a dormitory. Suggest bringing mattress foamies and plastic cutlery/plates/cups if you stay here and want to eat breakfast in your room. Great views, BBQ, cooking stoves, and workout room also available. Staff was very helpful. Free coffee in am was much appreciated!
No problems. Fast, friendly check-in (thank you, Brett!), quiet clean, no frills accommodations walking distance to the university. Paid 115/night for a Friday night during a busy tournament weekend at the Canada Games pool. Would definitely consider staying again on a subsequent visit to Kamloops. Be advised that jumping in the elevators won't be tolerated.
Last resort, everything was booked. Would consider it again. We had a two bedroom with double beds. Only needed the beds and shower, the kitchen maybe a convenience for another time or other people. Would consider a 4 bedroom, for a larger group.
Overall great value. Perched on a hill, the rooms I have stayed in (4 times now) have all enjoyed great views. Rooms have always been clean. Decor is simple and sterile as may be expected of a university residence. Workout room while not comprehensive is useful. The campus is enjoyable to walk around.
My stay was great. I was there for a graduation ceremony. I arrived late in the evening and was checked in very quickly. The front desk was very helpful. Our room was large and had a beautiful view.
Great cost effective hotel/dorm rooms. Separate mini bedrooms, kitchen and shower style bathroom. Everything is in great shape and there is free coffee at reception. You are about 8 minutes (by car) from downtown Kamloops. We paid 72 a night for 2 people so an amazing deal. Rooms might be harder to book when the university is not in summer mode. The Den Bar (the student bar) is closed during the summer months. Check out Fox and Hound Pub (2 minutes by car) for grate food and lots of beer choices.
