Paradise unlocked! Fern Gully cabins are the oasis I didn't know I needed. I stumbled upon them in early 2018 and have been visiting about 2 or 3 times a year since. If you're looking for a quiet place to recharge and unplug these cozy cabins tucked in the woods provide you with just that. The lack of wifi or cell service allows you to focus on the serene forest setting. The cabins are beautiful and rustic with your bare essentials. Equipped with running water and a wood stove to keep you warm and an assortment of cooking utensils to nourish your body after a day in nature. The care and details they've placed into each cabin add to your experience. The beds are cozy, made with soft linens, placed up in the loft with big windows that make you feel as though you're sleeping among the trees. The outdoor shower is easily my favorite feature. Standing under the hot water looking up at the trees and the sky with the steam rising above - showering indoors has forever lost all appeal. A private little corner of this island I will truly be forever happy I discovered. Pro tip: keep your stove going strong to warm up the cabin then when you go to bed crack your window open and fall asleep to the sound of the rushing creek below.

The perfect place to unwind. The property is absolute magic and the cabins are so unique. The cabins are so close to many nearby hikes and serene locations, if you're up for adventuring. If not, Fern Gully is the perfect place to relax and disconnect. The owners are so kind and accommodating. I can't wait to stay again!!
I’ve stayed at Ferngully a couple of times. My last stay was at the end of October in the Cypress and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Ty and Haley have really made the cabins the perfect little hiding spot getaway and an amazing place to escape, recharge and disconnect from the everyday life. The bed is comfy, the outdoor shower is a great experience and the cabin itself is so warm and cozy. We cooked, we drank, we ate and fell asleep to the sound of the creek below. Mystic beach hike is a must and so is a stop at Shirley Delicious... I can’t wait to book my next visit. Thanks guys Nina

This is my favourite set of cabins to get away to! I have been many many times and I always come home feeling so refreshed. Haley & Ty have put so much of their love into this beautiful and magical oasis. The disconnection is unbeatable when you hear the creek outside and the birds chirping. There is a trail to the beach which makes you feel like you're travelling through an enchanted forest. The simplicity that the cabin offers allows you to really slow down and be present which has always left me with great reminders. A beautiful wood burning stove to keep the heat going. Firewood is readily available too. The shower is heavenly outside while you breathe in the beautiful smells of cedar and ferns! Very clean and the bed was so comfortable. You're so close to all the beaches and a variety of locations close by to hike/explore. The location is fantastic. Everything I needed to know was in a very detailed binder with ample information. Communication was great prior to as you get sent a info package with the details you need. I very much appreciated this as there is no service out there and I felt I had everything readily available that I needed to know! Thank you Haley & Ty for providing this beautiful space for us to enjoy. I will always be back! I recommend everyone staying here if you are looking for a peaceful getaway, to disconnect in nature, and want to slow things down. Kace & Grayson
They need to work on their customer service. Although I appreciate their being accommodating initially, what followed were many days of non-communication (because they were hiking) and just ignoring my messages completely. I just wish they put as much effort in their customer service as they do on their Instagram pictures.
First couple hours at the cabin we spent cleaning and disinfecting. Then power went out and has been off for 13 hours now and still waiting. Nice location, a bit overpriced.
