This is our experience and an email my wife sent to the manager: To the Manger and/or Owner of JIVKO Stone and Tile: My husband and I booked an appointment for today Friday Nov. 9/18 for repair of a chip out of our granite countertop back on Oct. 5/18. I spoke to your store representative Beverly several times about the repair work and she assured me we were booked in for this date and that someone would be by between 2:00 and 3:00 that afternoon. I also sent a confirmation text of the appointment date and time with pictures of the countertop chip on Oct. 5/18. At the time my husband and I were ok with the fact that we would need to wait 4 weeks to get the work done and understood it was a busy time for many businesses in this line of work. We are trying to sell our home right now so we were satisfied with the next closest appointment time which Beverly told me was Nov. 9. In order to facilitate the work being done at our place I had to take time off of work so that someone could be home to let in the worker(s). Today at 2:00 I phoned JIVKO to inquire how the worker(s) was running with his/her timing so I would know when to look out for him/her. To my surprise the representative on shift today informed me that she \had forgotten about the appointment\, informed me that \the apoxy glue delivery didn't arrive this past Monday\ and that JIVKO would not be able to attend to the booking. She said perhaps she could try and squeeze me in next week... As you can imagine my husband and I are furious. 4 weeks have gone by where we could have been making other arrangements or awaiting an actual appointment with another company. I have lost wages today for nothing and took my son out of school early unnecessarily. We are completely disappointed and find this event to be most unprofessional.
