My girlfriend and I have been taking private lessons with Joel for just over a month now and I can honestly say I am thrilled with not only the progress we've seen in our dancing abilities but also with how fun the lessons are. Joel is an excellent instructor, its obvious he's very passionate about dance and has been doing it for a very long time. He's also very fun, friendly and accommodating of our schedule. I highly recommend him if you're looking to learn how to dance or if you're looking for a fun weekly date with your partner.

Joel and Clara are amazing ballroom dance instructors! Whether you are looking for casual dance lessons or more intense competition preparation and technique training, they are the perfect pair to teach you. I trained with Joel for several years and loved attending his classes. He strikes the perfect balance of humor and focus, brings a friendly, positive energy to each lesson, and is infinitely patient and calm even as he challenges you to push beyond your comfort zone. When my partner and I wanted to do a dance for our Harry Potter-themed wedding, we turned to JC Dance without hesitation. Joel helped us choreograph a beautiful routine to Hedwig's theme song in just a few lessons. My husband had never danced before and was nervous, but Joel put him at ease right away, adapting the choreography to cater to both our needs. I would 100% recommend the JC Dance Co!!
I absolutely, 100% recommend JC Dance Co. My partner and I have been seeing Joel for ballroom dance lessons for over a month now, and it is always the highlight of our week! Clara was truly an outstanding dance teacher! She made dance accessible and fun, and always had the best cues to help us learn. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great weekly date night- we loved our experience!
Clara made our lessons so fun. We did the SOS package right before our wedding (we had previously taken the beginners waltz classes with Joel) the 2 classes allowed us to feel confident that our first dance wouldn’t just be a grade 7 slow turn and sway. Both Clara and Joel are easy going and very clear with their instructions, breaking it down into easy to follow steps even for newbies such as ourselves. If you are thinking of going to JC Dance Co, stop thinking and just do it!
