Silvia is both a talented musician and an amazing cello teacher! I have known her for many years and once my 7-yo daughter said she wanted to learn cello I jumped at the opportunity of hiring Silvia as her teacher. For the past 10 months, my daughter has taken classes online with Silvia, and she could not be more engaged and happy. She keeps learning knew songs, increasing her repertoire and skills. I am truly impressed by Silvia's knowledge, patience, and dedication. My daughter sees how invested Silvia is, and this is what motivates her to give her best. Thank you Silvia, you are a rare gem!

Silvia has brought with her from Milan Italy a first hand account of old world training in Baroque, Classical, and Modern music. After 8 years of studying Cello with Silvia she still seems to find new and inventive ways of conveying that knowledge. Her energy and enthusiasm seems endless as she not only gives "in person" but online lessons to all ages, she also organizes bi-annual recitals ( in non Covid times). She will also help you choose the right cello and in doing so taking the mystery away from buying the perfect cello for you. etc. etc. etc. I have seen other teachers (briefly) throughout the years but have always returned to Silvia and what makes the most sense in music .
