Ordered liver for breakfast. Fresh and hot, flavourful and perfectly done. I was expecting it to be chewy and hard but it was perfectly tender and cooked all the way. Also, got their beef samosas with black tea. These guys are exceptional. Love their food and service.

I came here as I was in the area and decided to go with Istar for a quick bite. I went in, grabbed a beef wrap, which has a drink included for a very good price. The employees were kind and the food was delicious. Everything is halal, and there was a water jug with cups available. The beef wrap was great and the bread they use for it is very satisfying.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some Somali classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Best authentic Somali food in the GTA hands down!!!! Try their rice, with beef ribs & the BBQ chicken and the spicy beef samosas (to die for)!!!
This Somali Restaurant is awesome , each and everyone should visit it to see for him/herself. The food is great, the service is amazing , yet the environment is tidy & clean.
Huge servings, nicely cooked fish, very good rice - good for a quick bite!
