We choose Island Carpet and Flooring for hardwood installation in our condo despite other companies offering a lower price for the same material and labour. We don't regret it and would choose them again any time. From the first visit to the showroom to the finished installation we felt in good hands. Chris is very knowledgeable about all the products and provided all details to make an informed decision. Our tight schedule was accommodated and all agreements were kept reliably. We have to thank Noel and his wife for the perfect installation. They managed to lay the hardwood in one continuous pattern throughout three rooms connected by a narrow hallway on an angle. Quite an achievement! And then they went the extra mile to remount all the baseboard trim (not part of the contract) working overtime and only charging a very reasonable fee. We now have a small request for some aftermath work and Chris handles this as if it was a five digit project. Very professional and reliable service. They are in business for over fifty years for a reason.

February 2021...From start to finish, Island Carpet provides great quality and service. I have now used them 3 times since 1999 for carpet and laminate flooring. Arden was knowledgeable and caring from the in-home quote to finalizing all details after the installation. Dale and his partner were equally knowledgeable and courteous during the installation. I would recommend this company to anyone. We are never disappointed.

I’m very happy with Island Carpets! Arden and Robin were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the ins and outs of selecting the right carpet. Getting new carpet in the condo was the first big project we’ve done. The Island Carpet sales team put us at ease making this big purchase. The installation crew did a great job too. After looking for years for flooring, I dropped in here and was met by Robin, who took great care in looking for a flooring product that would be suitable for me. I should note also, that Island Carpeting is one of only a few businesses that are keeping track of customers coming in and out, as per Provincial Covid regulations. I was reassured by that. Robin came to my apt with some flooring samples, and after thoroughly assessing my decor, made a very good suggestion. This is not just a company that sells a product, Robin paid great attention to seeing that I got something that would look good in my apt. More of a full service experience. I am very happy with my flooring, and the installation, and am glad that I found someone who gives such excellent personal service. I have not experienced this at any other flooring store. The others are more into selling than meeting the customer needs. Totally happy with the whole experience

The service was great. I know what I wanted and they delivered without any difficulty, time for installation no problem, Installers were well informed of what there job entailed. They were early on the job site and called to let me know they were there, waited patiently until I arrived, when they started there work it was done without difficulty, sufficient and cleaned. Thanks guys. They will be first on my list when I have another project.
