Alex @ isgSearch reached out to me with a position in mind relevant to my experience and skillset. Over the course of about 3 weeks we went through the interview, offer and negotiation process. Alex co-ordinated each phase, helped me prepare and provided me with updates via text and call. At the end of the process I accepted the offer which met the compensation expectations I provided Alex when we first connected. Next time I'm looking for a position, I'll be reaching out to Alex and Aidan @ isgSearch from the start.

The word among staffing agencies is true. ISG is really unprofessional and unethical when compared to the many actual talented agencies in Toronto. They often not tell the truth and not helpful. Please Stay away.
I applied to a posting and recieved a phone call from a fellow named Simon, who was aggressive and surly. This guy must have been having a bad day cuz his rude, antagonistic responses progressed with our convo until my patience wore thin. Simon would ask loaded questions based on his misunderstandings yet have the nerve to get aggressive with my response. Almost as if he was expecting me to fall for his silly gotchas. Despite all of this behaviour he still has the nerve to send me emails and invites to connect on LinkedIn. Get a clue!
Recently did a 15 min call with them for hiring a software engineer in the junior position with about 1-3 years experience. I told them I had several co-ops under my belt (2 years of experience total) as a new grad but the interviewer quickly dismissed them and differentiated work experience from internships. If you're hiring for a junior engineer, why would you alienate a new grad with actual paid work experience? lol
Had the great pleasure working with ISG search especially Evan on a recent contract. He has been a great guy and very helpful in getting back to me with the most recent information. One recommendation for the company is to conduct interviews through Skype instead of in-person because parking in Toronto is a bit tough.
