Amazing place to visit in Jasper. Awesome view in a short walking distance. Good for everyone.

Another must-see waterfall on your route to or from Jasper. The parking lot is about 1/2 a kilometer off Hwy 93, and the upper falls are a 2 minute walk down from the parking lot.
A gorgeous stop along the Icefields Parkway, which is one of the most scenic drives in the world! An easy walk to a set of twin falls with a picturesque little island. My favourite time to go is during spring runoff when you can feel the mist on your face from the massive amounts of water that flows through there.
This is a nice falls, but if you're tight on time, I'd suggest stead stopping at Athabasca Falls. Still, can't go wrong stopping to see water roaring down a falls!
Visited there on Christmas Day, 2020, just a couple of visitors. As I stood still on the bridge and stared at the fall, time seems stoped. Then I saw the flowing water, the snow mountain far away, I suddenly realized life is so beautiful as I can enjoy moment as long as I want.
Beautiful spot and lower falls was a nice trip down with less traffic as people stopped at the main bridge got photos and left. Parking lot is fairly small so plan accordingly and arrive early.
The short hike to Lower Sunwapta Falls was worth it. Upper falls are right by the road and nice as well.
It's a beautiful area and the falls are magical! There's not a lot of areas to get super close to the falls and if you're looking for big huge falls and a lot of them then this is not the place. There's pretty scenery and some walking areas but not as much as Athabasca Falls would have nearby. I do like the fact there was a lot of parking space and it's easy to get to.
