Marshall and his team are highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals. They take great pride in their work and go far beyond the spec required. On our freight elevator modernization (50's era, with quite a lot of quirks) they even painted the 'pit' underneath the elevator despite not being required. They encountered a lot of unexpected obstacles bringing our old unit up to code but always took them in stride. I would not hesitate at all to recommend them, either for retrofit or service.
We have a number of elevators on an industrial site critical to our operation. We had great difficulty getting service commitment from other elevator companies, so we switched our maintenance contract to ICON. The difference has been night and day… elevator reliability has increased dramatically, and downtime is negligible. They are very knowledgeable, safety conscious, easy to contact for emergencies, quick to respond, and pleasant to work with. ICON is a great local company!
With over 35 years experience in various facility maintenance roles I can say that I have never received such honest and professional service from any other elevator service provider. After being quoted over 25,000 in repairs from one of the larger service companies I contacted a local consultant who recommended giving Marshall at ICON a call. Marshall has repaired our elevator for minimal costs while communicating all of the issues and resolutions to me in detail. Excellent communication! Honest service! Great rates! We will now be extremely happy to sign a full service contract with ICON Elevator!
Marshall is knowledgeable, capable and gets the job done well each time. Our lift is fully operational and working smoothly all the time since he took over our maintenance contract.
