4 years ago, my son, a friend, and I were motorcycling up to Yellowknife. We needed a place to eat and some fix-it parts for our bikes. We happened to have met Ray in the parking lot as he waved us in as he knew we were looking for something. He got us set up for breakfast at the trappers shack, met us there with his wife and kids, then proceeded to open up his hardware shop on a day off for him to help us out. What a guy and what a hardware store. Can’t say enough good stuff about Ray!

Heritage building with a surprisingly large selection of hardware, lumber, houseware, camping, fishing.. everything you need. Staff are helpful and friendly and have many tips to favourite spots in the area. Ask about the building, its fascinating!
