We absolutely love H/W and the teachers there. I have two young girls who are registered. The teachers are professional, relevant, and experienced. They genuinely care about the success of their business and their students. We love the smaller class sizes and the intimate instruction that they receive. We’ve participated in the summer camp for multiple years and it’s by far my daughters favourite camp to attend. We won’t go anywhere else!

H/W School of Ballet is the best kept secret in Calgary. Our daughter was ready to quit ballet but once she switched to H/W, she discovered her love and passion for ballet. Being able to perform with the CPO in front of a sold out crowd this year was an unbelievable opportunity for these young dancers. This school provides the highest level of instruction yet maintains an intimate, personalized feel with their small class sizes and supportive teachers. We are grateful we discovered H/W and highly recommend this dance school.

This is honestly the best dance school in Calgary for ballet and contemporary, and performing and improving and being mentored. The teachers are all incredible. Not only can they teach, but they have all danced professionally so they can actually share real experiences, and show the students. The environment is supportive and fun and the friendships made are wonderful. I highly recommend this school to anyone who loves to dance at any level.
My daughter is new to H/W this year and the growth she has shown is very exciting! The teachers are so talented. The class sizes are intimate and the children in the classes are all so sweet and supportive. It is a wonderful environment for creative growth and education. The teachers are so full of knowledge and experience, truly these kids are in the best of hands.
H/W School of Ballet has been a game-changer for our son. There is such a strong focus on technique and even the opportunity to perform with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. Such well-respected teachers in the professional world can provide incredible growth to all dancers. I am so excited to see my son's development in the coming years.
H/W faculty are exceptionally talented and distinguished dancers and teachers. Their love of dance, joy for children and professionalism are unmatched. It is difficulty to find a studio that balances a strong technical foundation, room for creativity, play and performance. They are working hard to strike that balance.
Our son absolutely loves the performance opportunities he's been given through H/W Ballet. It's quite thrilling to be on stage with the CPO as a young child! We appreciate the dedication, discipline, and spirit of all the teachers. H/W is a school where the dancers are supporting each other and the parents are becoming friends.
