Went there looking for a brake line. Had my own tools and knew they had 2 matching trucks. Wasn’t allowed to take a line off reasoning being “oil leak” yet the entire scrap yard is an oil disaster and the fluids don’t get drained before they crush them... went to a few other yards and no one could believe it.

I own a business that recycles a good trailer and van load 3 - 5 times a week. Dishwashers, rangehoods, washers, dryers, ovens, fridges etc. We have used these guys a couple times before with no issue. This past weekend was brutal. did not open at 7:00 as the hours on the door said, it was well after 8:00. And then I was told that I could just leave my items in a bin in the front. When asked how I got paid for the scrap that way, was told it wasn't worth much annyway. Doesn't matter if it was worth 5 bucks or 50 bucks, it's still a little more in my pocket. So instead, the lot was hauled back to Barrie where 47.85 was paid out. Who ever was working on Saturday morning needs a little customer service training. As telling a potential customer to 'by all means take it back to Barrie' is likely not the best avenue to ensure repeat customers.
