Hounds on Holiday has been a gift! So easy to book and great communication while I’m away to keep me up to date about my dog. The caregivers love my dog as much as I do and no problems with administering her meds and following her schedule. Hounds on Holiday takes the stress out of going on vacation. It is such a relief to be able to go on a vacation and completely relax knowing that your pet is being taken such good care of! We have used H.O.H. on several occasions, with our current 16 month old Bernedoodle, and previously with our Boxer. Each time we use this service we are simply amazed at how easy and stress free it is! With ongoing photo updates we receive while on vacation, it is comforting to know (and see) that our little boy is having as much fun on his holiday as we are... Thank you Gaynor for creating a service that takes the worry out of travel and allows our four legged friends a chance to share their love with a family that truly appreciates them! The photos and updates from the host family were wonderful to receive and the peace of mind knowing our dog was a happy pooch made our vacation stress-free. We could see from the photos how happy our dog was; playing fetch, going for walks, relaxed and making herself at home! Much better than a kennel!

We’re so proud of our fabulous Border Collie Rescue, Dickens, as we worked to overcome the many challenges that his early life dealt him. The final hurdle was to find a place for him to stay where he’d feel safe and comfortable, and Gaynor, along with her amazing host families at Hounds on Holiday offered us just that! Gaynor’s compassion and love for dogs is obvious, and coupled with the detailed questionnaire covering every aspect of your dogs life, meant that Dickens was matched with the perfect hosts who could handle his quirky personality. He’s had three wonderful vacations so far, and has been returned to us each time looking fit, happy and very relaxed. The numerous photo updates of his vacation allowed us to relax and enjoy ours, and we’ll certainly be using the fantastic services of Hounds on Holiday again! Thanks again Gaynor!
